Indian Society of Pain Clinicians
The Indian Society of Pain Clinicians (ISPC), registered in 2015-16 (Reg. No. 65/2015-16), is a professional organization dedicated to advancing pain medicine as a recognized medical super-specialty in India.
Our Mission
To link all trained and qualified pain physicians in India and abroad under one umbrella to share knowledge, promote research, establish clinical guidelines, and advance pain medicine as a recognized medical super-specialty.
Key Objectives
- Promoting formal, structured pain medicine training across Indian medical institutions
- Advocating for National Medical Commission recognition of pain medicine as a super-specialty
- Organizing national and international conferences, CME programs, and workshops
- Public awareness about chronic pain and the availability of specialized treatment
- Evidence-based pain management practices and clinical guidelines
Membership
ISPC membership is open to physicians who have completed a minimum of one year of formal, in-house pain medicine training from a recognized institution. Accepted qualifications include PDCC, PDAF, FNB, and DM courses in pain medicine.
